The platform Twitter (also called X by some people) has gone through two turbulent years since Elon Musk bought Twitter in 2022. Since then users and advertisers have left in droves after Elon Musk relaxed the control of content and some of them are still leaving. Elon Musk's support for Donald duck Trump has provoked another exodus of users because they are angry or even mad of what stupid things they are saying or doing.

The British newspaper the Guardian quit on Thursday and people like the USA novellist Stephen King have joined them. He tweeted "I'm leaving Twitter, tried to stay, but the atmosphere has just become too toxic. And he said to his seven million X followers: 'Follow me on Threads, if you like.'
