Apple accused of trapping and ripping off 40 million iCloud customers

Apple is facing a legal claim accusing it of locking 40 million British customers into its iCloud service and charging them "rip off prices" and there is no surprise there: there are some people in the world that can be called human ferengi because they want money, money and more money and everything else is after this - performance, free will and even emotions and feelings like love.

Consumer group Which? says the legal action could result in a 3 billion American dollars payout if successful, with the average customer getting around £70. Apple has rejected the suggestion, saying users are not required to use iCloud. Of course the users are not required to use it but if you use it for a time (days, weeks or months) how free are they to choose their provider and use another could? Facebook, Google, gaming giant Steam and the UK's leading mobile providers are among others facing legal claims at the same court, the Competition Appeal Tribunal.
