Currency converting software for travelers

Money is a necessity when you travel in other countries or other continents just like air, water and food. Many travellers, especially those flying long distance and landing in a foreign country at weird hours (late in the night or early in the morning) when most of the banks and currency exchange desks are closed prefer to acquire a small amount of a specific foreign currency before they depart on a trip instead of searching some non stop  currency exchange desks on site. Having the local equivalent of 100 euros in your pocket is usually enough to pay for a cab or something else to get to your destination, without (usually) any problem.

There are some currency converting software for desktops, but I rather ignore them (for now) and consider the free applications for mobile phones (smartphones) and tablets. The reason is very simple: the travelers need ther mobility, it easier to get your smartphone or tablet than a laptop or a netbook and use is applications. You can do it everywhere you have phone signal or Wi-Fi.
