Twitter has been suspended in Brazil since the early hours of yesteday Brazil time after it failed to appoint a new legal representative in the country before a court-imposed deadline. This ban, because it's not the first one and there will be probaly more, is the culmination of a feud between local Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes and Twitter's owner Elon Musk which began in April, when the judge ordered the suspension of dozens of accounts for allegedly spreading disinformation.
One can only keep wondering how other countries will react to this. One day Twitter will be gone forever (just gone, not only renamed) and Brazil can give other countries some ideas about how or why to help in Twitter disappearing.
