Why the Kremlin welcomes the call from German Chancellor Scholz

Living in a world where each person is following his or her goals is not bad, but the problem is that some persons are following their goals so bad they bring other people to their death. Vladimir Putin and the people around him are such persons, so Ukraine has been invaded and an almost 3 years war is going on there.

And for the moment the Ukrainian President Volodimyr Zelenskyy has condemned a phone call between German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Russia's President Vladimir Putin. During an hour-long conversation – their first in nearly two years – Scholz told Putin to end the war and stressed German support for Ukraine. But Kyiv says talks with Putin never lead anywhere.
