
Kursk is where Ukrainian forces staged a cross-border incursion into Russian territory back in August, seizing a chunk of territory. This comes as Russian lawmakers ratified a defense treaty with North Korea that pledges 'mutual assistance' if either country is attacked. Earlier President Vladimir Putin did not deny the presence of North Korean troops in Russia. The USA said 3.000 North Korean troops are in Russia -- and has described the deployment as 'very serious.'
