Meta bans Russian state media from all its platforms

The Russian behaviour (including the Ukraine war) has some internation and internet effects: Meta has issued a total ban on Russian state media outlets, citing "foreign influence activity" and claiming the outlets had used deceptive tactics to carry out covert influence operations online.

The list of platforms Meta own started with Facebook, then added Instagram and later Threads so the Russian state media is baned on all of them. That's quite OK for me because I don't watch the Russian state media and I am hardly on Facebook and Instagram. I have no idea how Threads is looking because I have never been interested in it and Facebook became a shitty platform to be interested in it anymore.
