Linux versus Windows: malware

The video made me curious about it from one reason: I am using Linux for more than a decade (10 years) and I haven't got one single malware. Of course, I am not downloading and running all kind of files and that can be the main reason but nobody can fully avoid malware.

Of course, I am a software engineer and I am kind of prepared to avoid this kind of things but there are many things I don't know about. This video seems to be helpful about the situation and the malware information about the operating systems they are using. I've already known that Linux was no immune to malware because I know how bad some persons think, there's a ton of malware on Linux like or even more malware that Windows is having considering the number of them not the infected computers, and in this video we will compare the respective ecosystems from a malware and security perspective.
