Elon Musk's record $56bn pay deal rejected for second time

Elon Musk was glad his friend Donald duck Trump winning the race and becoming the USA president but he continues the have problems with Twitter and the ax known a Tesla (tesla means a sort of ax in Romanian). Twitter is irelevant for the moment, Tesla chief executive Elon Musk's record-breaking $56bn (£47bn) pay award will not be reinstated, a judge in Delaware has ruled, despite it being approved by shareholders and directors in the summer.

BBC News is talking about the subject - judge Kathaleen McCormick upheld her previous decision from January 2024, in which she argued that board members were too heavily influenced by Elon Musk. The pay package would have been the largest ever for the boss of a listed company, said Judge McCormick.

Responding to the ruling, Elon Musk posted on Twitter: "Shareholders should control company votes, not judges." He is right in some degree: the shareholders should control company votes accordingly with the country laws. If they are brealking the law judges get involved. Tesla has vowed to appeal against the ruling, saying the decision was "wrong".
