World of Warcraft: 'Boundless potential to keep the game going for another 20 years'

I forgot when it was the last time I played world of wacraft, I am too busy with the warcraft from the real life pracring kendo, but it was sometime about 20 years ago - I still remember playing the game a few times when it was available for us.

But the games is 20 years now and people are saying that they have lots ideas to make people people for another 20 years even with online complains from people like Louis Rossmann. For the moment you may only remember that World of Warcraft is celebrating its 20th birthday this year (especially and you are a fan and you don't mind about people complainign Bizzard's stupid things) and some of the game's most senior bosses have told the BBC there is "boundless" potential and "easily" enough stories to keep the game going for another 20 years. Since Microsoft's merger with World of Warcraft's maker Activision Blizzard last year, there has been speculation about the future of some games, with a survival game project widely known as Odyssey scrapped, and 1,900 members of Activision Blizzard staff laid of.

The current fans were concerned because BlizzCon, an annual gaming convention, was cancelled for 2024. I may go back to the game I know and plat it for a few times but it's the first time when I am hearing / reading about this annual gaming convention so I don't mind at all about its cancelation.

In the video BBC spoke to the bosses before that BlizzCon cancellation, with World of Warcraft's vice president and executive producer Holly Longdale and associate game director Maria Hamilton saying they have been given Microsoft's "full support" and didn't rule out potential crossovers with games such as Elder Scrolls.
