Windows just did what? | Time to start switching to Linux

I have beeing using Linux only for 10 years now and I've tried a few Linux distributions so far. I don't know what have been done Windows recently because my last Windows was Windows XP and I am feeling better than OK using Linux.

But for the moment it seems Microsoft and their recent versions of operating system are pushing more and more people to upgrading to Windows 11, and now they are rolling out paid security plans for those wanting to keep Windows 10. And that's fucking odd (you may forget or not the f word but that's your decision). Sometime making money is so important that people can call you human ferengi (I hope you know what ferengi is and how they behave in Star Trek shows).

As I have heard recently (the video here is not the only one I've watched) people from Microsoft are doing similar things to what Meta / Facebook are doing and what Louis Rossmann is complaining about. I am not asking you to switch from Windows to Linux, that's entirely your decision and you can use whatever operating system you like, I am just saying that's a relevant option because Linux is free, Linux is open source and you can run many Windows programs under Linux using Wine.
