Why keyword stuffing is not a good idea

Hidden text means any text you (as a human) can't see but the bots parsing your webpage can see. In some degree (not much, but it's there) hidden text is a normal part of a page, it's that text that appears when the page is reacting to visitors' actions, but too much hidden text is bad.

Meantime, it does not matter if you own a blog, an online shop or a forum, or maybe a news feed - your texts should be readable by humans. They must have sentences with subjects, predicates, adverbs, adjectives and so on. The better meaning you can give them the better, you may have the chance to attract more visitors and rank higher. Keywords stuffing is any text containing only keywords, it wouldn't have much meaning (or not at all) for a human reader.

Having keywords in your text is a good thing, it is one of the basic set of signals the search engines has been using since the beginning. But it's only one of them, because the text readability is as much as important. Avoid keyword stuffing as much as adding hidden text more than necessary because you'll have your website penalized.
