What's Vladimir Putin’s negotiation strategy with the Donald duck Trump administration?

The White House says Russia has agreed to a 30-day ceasefire on energy and infrastructure targets in Ukraine. The Russian attacks continue in Ukraine but the ceasfire was agreed upon, and this follows a lengthy phone call between current USA current president Donald Trump and Russian president Vladimir Putin. Washington has described the call as a first step towards a wider truce. Nobody believes that, there is no truce when the bullies are in the middle of the wat, but talks about that continue 'immediately' in the Middle East.

The outcome falls far short of the general ceasefire agreed to by Ukraine last week and Deutsche Welle reporters are spearking about that. The Kremlin says Putin raised several 'significant points' during the call, including a request to end foreign military and intelligence assistance to Ukraine.
