Me and my friend Roger (TheRealBoof) decided to do a small test film just to play around with the color choice and picture quality that the camera had to offer. We didn't really have any pre-production and the scene/story was mostly improvised as were shooting. The shoot overall took about 3 and half hours. We came up with a small samurai film. In part derivative and inspired by Kurosawa and New Wave film making.
Post production took around 15-18 hours. Sound was done exclusively in post-production (none was recorded from the original video). Edited on Sony Vegas. Filmed in Pennsylvania. Many thanks to the Township of Upper St. Clair and the USC Police Department. Music is "The Cherry Blossoms" aka "Sakura Sakura" which is a traditional Japanese folk song.
On the other hand, Kendo practice spread around the world. It's the modern training, we practice it ar Ronin-Do club in Oradea. You are welcome if you want to join.
