Poltergeist (2015)

From my point of view the Easter time is the perfect time to watch this kind of movies: old movies brought back to life and current times, old stories (a family's suburban home is invaded by evil forces), old resurrected characters (it's about Easter and Christianity this time, this last item).

But, whatever, I'll have to wait until my birthday (22nd of May) to watch this movie: this time, the filmmaker Sam Raimi (known for movies as Spiderman, Evil Dead, The Grudge) and the director Gil Kenan (known for Monster House) contemporize the classic tale about a family whose suburban home is haunted by evil forces. When the terrifying apparitions escalate they attacks and hold the youngest daughter captive, and the family must come together to rescue her before she disappears forever.

Directed by Gil Kenan, written by David Lindsay-Abaire.
