
Instead of attempting to figure out which messages matter most to you and then promoting them to the top of your inbox, the new Gmail interface sticks tabs across the top - up to five of them, for Primary messages (from real, alive, internet connected humans), Social (all kinds of mails as Facebook and Twitter updates), Promotions (the tons of ads), Updates (in case you are receveing bills, notifications, etc via email). Probably I'll use only one tab from these four... considering that Gmail is not my primary email (and it may take weeks to check it and start sorting & deleting emails).
