Market Insight: Ryanair's profit meltdown signals the 'end of the post-pandemic boom'

One of the recent 2024 news is saying that Ryanair posted a 46% fall in its second-quarter profits after tax. According to City Index analyst Fiona Cincotta, record-high interest rates have squeezed households' budgets and that have negatively impacted demand for travel using planes.

People have become too busy to travel not only with work and money, but with 2024 political elections around the globe. No surprise there, especially when some people ca easily say that the world is turning upside down and I am not speaking about physics. The travel will probably increase again next year after the 2024 elections or the next year after that (in 2026) after the money is coming back. We'll see and travel again.
