How long should you wait for a late client?

Usually, when webdesigning is involved you should wait a few days or about a week or so depending of how bad you want the website or how much workload the designer have. I maintain a tight professional schedule and I believe that punctuality is good and a sign of respect but some of us are very busy. Even I am busy in many days during the year.

When programming is involved it depends of the complexity of project. Some program developments can be solved in a few hours or a day or so while others need many tests and many hours of writing code. Sometime the developer can say a day or two the becomes sick or various problems do appear.

If you as a client is in hurry no matter the reason of course you can't wait. Sometimes you really can't wait but it's important to talk with the designer / developer / his mates if it's a company involved. The others can help if you ask them, you can help offering all available information before he or she starting the job.
