Climate change is clear and it's in heading on bad road, what you hear or read otherwise while talking with your friends , watching the TV or listening radio does not count. If you still believe those words you are not living in this world and two names are written on your forhead: Dunning and Kruger. There are too many wheater specialists talking about how the planet is heating up slowly not to consider them and you can see that yourself watching the wheater around you over the last decade or more if you are old enough.

There was little discussion of “transitioning away from fossil fuels” as agreed at COP28 in Dubai. In the run-up to COP29, this Gresham lecture argues for a change in the narrative, so those with the ability and resources to solve the climate problem have less incentive to shuffle responsibility onto ordinary people who do not.
