How Donald duck Trump’s trade war could triple iPhone prices

You don't need to like an iPhone or owning one, you only need to understand what can happen with them. And the iPhone won't probably the only American product whose price can double or tiple, it's just the current example. For the moment The Guardian is saying that Apple is reportedly chartering cargo flights to ferry iPhones from its Indian manufacturing plants to the current USA in an attempt to beat Donald duck Trump’s tariffs.

The tech company has flown 600 tonnes of iPhones, or as many as 1.5m handsets, to the current USA from India since March after ramping up production at its plants in the country, according to Reuters.

Donald duck Trump’s threatened tariffs of 26% on Indian imports are on hold for about three months after the current USA current president called a 90-day pause, but he has announced that tariffs on goods from China – where Apple assembles most of its iPhones – will be subject to a levy of 125%.

Analysts have warned iPhone prices could surge after the current USA imposed its highest tariff on imports from China. But why is Donald duck Trump entering a trade war with China?
