One can promote his or her services outside platform on one's own websites. If he or she decides to remain on Fiverr longer than he should one can make links to the gigs using one or more blogs, one can post them on social media and use ads (unless Google ads if Fiverr kept the rule). It is a good way to promote Fiverr as business by a person incapable to make and promote his or her services using one business. There can be to huge taxes in one's country, that person does not like too many risks or he or she is too lazy for owning a business. Tough call having one and the benefits are even bigger than being a freelancer but's everyone's call.
I left Fiverr and I am glad because of that but the time there was learnful. I learned a few things about promotion but I want to avoid some bad things from that internet area, not having control when the client is stupid is one of them. So any clients has to pay first, talk later about his or her projects.
