Godzilla (2014)

When I've heard, this morning, that they (the fellows from Hollywood) are making another Godzilla movie I wasn't sure to laugh about the idea or just to laugh my ass off. The movie released in 1998 was a succes because for many it was something new and interesting (the previous movie was released, I think, in 1954), a new movie about the terrible monster may be just a lame resurrection.

This new movie will hit the cinemas May 16th, 2014, it should be an epic rebirth to Toho's iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure, by Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, pits the world's most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, screenplay by Max Borenstein, based on a story by Dave Callaham.

Cast: Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Ford - a military soldier responsible for tracking down and attempting to kill Godzilla), Elizabeth Olsen (Elle Brody), Ken Watanabe, Juliette Binoche (Ford's Mother / Stepmother), David Strathairn, Bryan Cranston (Joe Brody), Sally Hawkins, Brian Markinson, Richard T. Jones, Victor Rasuk (Tre Morales), Patrick Sabongui (Master Sergeant Marcus Waltz).
