I would almost say that's a step in religion improvement but the Artificial Intelligence is not good enough to do that. Artificial Intelligence is just another tool - it is good with some big flaws - so religion won't improve anytime soon.

People are doing greater mistakes than that Artificial Intelligence even if they are aware of themself and their environment and they are not just combining words and they are not just generating images depending of people's reactions like they were trained to do. So the fall of Father Justin is OK for now. If that Father Justin was aware probably the entire religion and Catholic church were falling but that's another story.

CNN is reporting and showing in the video that a priest, running on Artificial Intelligence, was trained on Catholic doctrine and was meant to be a cutting-edge tool to answer questions about faith. The chatbot caught on quickly but with unintended consequences and CNN's Jon Sarlin explores the rise, fall and rebirth after three days of Father Justin.
