They are both refferint to the UN's weather monitoring body taht said that greenhouse gases have been accumulating in the atmosphere ‘faster than any time experienced during human existence’ over the last two decades.

No matter their expressions we all feel it: the summers are getting heater and longer, the storms are getting more powerful and more often because the atmosphere is becoming more and more unstable, and if the climate change continue the world as we know it is pretty much fucked. It's not the first time the climate is changing but it's the first time it's because of humans - and if we don't survive it the change will be the last human change to this world.

Global efforts to tackle climate change are wildly off track, the United Nations has said, as new data shows that warming gases are accumulating faster than at any time in human existence. The update came as a separate report showed that greenhouse gases have risen by over 11% in the last two decades, with atmospheric concentrations surging in 2023.

Researchers are also worried that forests are losing their ability to soak up carbon, which could be contributing to record levels of warming gas in the atmosphere.
